Abbas Ghasham
This weekend in Novi at the Republican State Convention I had the chance to meet a Muslim candidate for 15th district state representative, Abbas Ghasham. He was arguing with a Christian fundamentalist (in theory) about salvation and Jesus Christ.
When the discussion switched to the issue of Israel the conversation got violent. Ghasham who is of Lebanese dissent became foul saying that the videos of hostages being decapitated by Muslims was done by the backing of the Israeli government. Ghasham would not acknowledge that Muslims blow up innocent women and children on busses and touted the plight of the Arab peoples.
