IP

July 27, 2005 at 12:44 am (Uncategorized)

A while back I sent an email to Truth Caucus. The person who read the email had the IP address of 67.163.22.23 which is Highland Park, IL.

Shortly thereafter I sent a link via AIM to truth caucus. He clicked it and this is the IP address that was shown: 67.163.22.23

This is a proximity chart:
Highland Park, IL 100%
Highwood, IL 50%
Fort Sheridan, IL 30%
Deerfield, IL 20%
Northbrook, IL 10%

There is a vast effort to convince me otherwise. Stay Tuned

Truth Caucus Revealed

July 26, 2005 at 6:47 pm (Uncategorized)

**THIS STORY IS DEVELOPING, STAY TUNED**

Many people have come to find out the identity of the CRNC Truth Caucus mystery blogger, but many still do not know. I have confirmed that the author of the Truth Caucus blog is John Donnelly, Illinois CR Vice Chairman.

What I find particularly humorous is that Your CRNC sent out an email condemning him while working directly with him. Many who followed the blogs during the election will know that news stories were almost always broken by Donnelly before Your CRNC.

Of his own admission, California State Chairman admitted this: Stephen Puetz said…
“Your a little behind on that Joe. Many of us have known it for months. I’m glad you feel special for “figuring it out”.
Your a special person.”

Oh the humanity!

YourCRNC what a socialist slogan. Politics serves politicians, not the people.

Honorary POS

July 25, 2005 at 11:31 pm (Uncategorized)

By now, everyone knows that Michael Davidson and Jennie Poston are dating. In fact one time during the campaign while I was chatting with Michael, I was going to mention Jennie in one of my posts but he asked me not to and explained that she had a fiance who would be upset.

Jennie, the girl that one of Michaels biggest and most visible supports on the East Coast calls “that girl with weight issues and downs syndrome.”

Perhaps that is why Davidson campaign manager, Rob McFadden and honorary piece of shit of the year cannot make good on agreements. Perhaps the reason for cancelling a reimbursement check is to help pay for their wedding. Time will tell.

I have a saved AIM log in which McFadden admits to YourCRNCs meddling in Michigan, and who the forces are behind what went on. If anyone is interested just ask me about it.

UofM CRs 7th Best in the Nation

July 25, 2005 at 5:07 pm (Uncategorized)

Taken from crncchatter.blogpsot.com… What say you Michigan State?

#7 – University of Michigan

It’s hard not to include the chapter that started it all.
The College Republican movement started on May 17th, 1892 at the University of Michigan, when Ohio Governor William McKinley christened the group started by student James Francis Burke. The ceremony drew students from Harvard and Stanford. Harvard had already created its own group – the Harvard Republican Club – in 1888.

Since then, the University of Michigan College Republicans have maintained their prominence as one of the top groups in the country.

With over 1000 members, the University of Michigan College Republicans campaigned hard for President Bush this past year. Their Students for Bush group was easily one of the best in the country, attracting a visit from the Bush twins, and supplying countless volunteers to Bush-Cheney campaign events. They even had the distinct honor of protesting Michael Moore.

Considered a “public ivy” and home of the nation’s finest law schools, Michigan is also one of the most liberal universities in the country. Because of the school’s prominence, it has become the battleground in the fight over affirmative action.

After the Supreme Court (wrongly) decided a series of lawsuits that came from the university’s affirmative action policies, equal rights advocate Ward Connerly launched the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative to ensure that everyone would be treated equally under the law.

The University of Michigan CR’s have taken an active role in pushing the initiative, collecting signatures and promoting equality.

Former CRNC Executive Director (and Davidson adviser) John Yob served as Chairman of the club only a short time ago.

President Gerald Ford, US Trade Representative Rob Portman, US Ambassador to Greece Thomas Miller, Congressman Fred Upton, and columnist Ann Coulter are all alums.

Fringe Groups In Focus: The Right Wing

July 25, 2005 at 2:35 am (Uncategorized)

Above: Woman who just admitted to killing four of her own children explains to Donna Holman why she doesn’t want to shove her dirty coathanger into her cervix and dig around through her uterus to rip out the rest of her children when the laws change. (Excert from the website)

ChristianGallery.com

The above website is maintained by Neal Horsley a prolife activist and a person who believes that abortion doctors should be killed.

On July 24, 1999 a Presbyterian minister by the name of Paul Hill shot and killed an abortionist in Florida. On September 3, 2003 he was executed for his crime. Horsleys group has a memorial in his honor every year, and they praise his actions.

When you visit the website it says that the FBI has shut it down. The reason it was taken down is because it lists abortion doctors address’ and offers personal information about them such as license plate number, phone numbers, and the address of their business.

Along with that there was a list of known doctors. When one was killed Neal would put a line through their name. When they were wounded it would be greyed out. Also on the website, before it was removed were webcams outside of abortion clinics. These revealed who went in and who went out to anyone with an internet connection.

When you visit the website there is a graphic of a burning America flag which reads, “Let’s Rally Around the Flag, Then Burn It.” Followed by a picture of Michael Jackon licking a childs penis, and then a picture of George Bush defacating on a Bible. I think that abortion doctors deserve what they get, how about you?

RNC/ Butler on Affirmative Action

July 23, 2005 at 6:24 pm (Uncategorized)

What To Do About Affirmative Action?

The chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) confirmed today that he has research data on how to handle the politically explosive affirmative action ballot proposal in Michigan, but he refused to share it with reporters. RNC Chair Ken Melhman joined U.S. Senate candidate Keith BUTLER and Michigan GOP Chair Saul Anuzis in not taking a position on the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative (MCRI) question, which has not made it to the statewide ballot yet.

Interviewed on the Off the Record public TV broadcast today, Melhman reports that Republicans are divided on the issue, but the important thing was to make sure the debate was “respectable.” When asked how he would advise Butler on the question, the RNC head indicated he would do that with the candidate and not with the panel. After the taping he disclosed that he had information on how Butler might successfully approach it. Melhman did not embrace the popular wisdom that Butler would lose African American votes if he sided with the conservative wing of the GOP in promoting the question. Conversely, he did not agree that Butler could win white votes if he said he would back the plan.

Asked to speculate on what impact the ballot plan might have on the 2006 election, he declined that offer, too. He was in East Lansing for the taping after doing a town hall meeting in Flint with local black leaders and another dinner meeting with black leaders in Saginaw on Wednesday. Melhman said the national party would stay out of the GOP U.S. Senate primary, suggesting that any hint of national influence would look “heavy handed” and give the impression that the nomination was being “imposed from above.” As for the overall impact of race in elections, he conceded that in the past some Republicans did try to exploit the racial divide in this country for political gain, but now he believes the Democrats are the ones doing that, not his own party. At the beginning of Gov. Jennifer Granholm’s economic foray into Japan and on the heels of the Democratic Party’s charges that challenger Dick DeVOS had sent Michigan jobs to China, Melhman shot back, “The biggest shipper of jobs out of Michigan is the Governor.”

Fox News on MI Gov Race

July 17, 2005 at 3:16 pm (Uncategorized)

Segment of an article from Fox News:

Several freshmen governors will face tough tests, including Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a rising Democratic star. Dick DeVos, the son of a co-founder of Amway Corp. with a personal fortune at the ready, has said he will run.
And governors’ impact on presidential politics is never out of the picture, with elections in swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Colorado. National and issue-oriented groups are all strategizing.

“We’re very focused on these governors races,” Karen White, executive director of Emily’s List, said from Washington. Her group works to elect pro-choice, Democratic women. “We’ll help them with the resources they need early on, and then with their races.”

Her group expects to raise more than 2004, when they spent nearly $11 million. The Republican Governors Association aims to spend at least $30 million. Democrats didn’t provide a number.
This weekend, governors cross party lines to focus on policy, with Medicaid and improving high school education atop their list. But it began with partisan fundraisers and meetings with political consultants.

Michigan’s Republican Party last week began statewide radio ads charging Granholm with failing to stop job losses as unemployment soars. Democrats fired back, criticizing likely challenger DeVos for running a company that laid off 1,000 Michigan workers while investing in China.
Granholm acknowledged the challenge. She said she’s focused on helping workers in her state’s battered automotive industry adjust to painful changes of globalization. She acknowledged voters might take out their anger at the ballot box.

“They may. But there’s no other way to go. You have to be honest with people,” she said.

Granholm AG Pick Prolife?

July 16, 2005 at 6:01 pm (Uncategorized)

From MIRSNews

Bowen Is Pro-Life

The Governor’s apparent handpicked candidate for Attorney General is pro-life — a fact that has caused a stir among some pro-choice Democrats who, so far, have chosen to go unnamed. “My enthusiasm would be diminished,” suggested one of those pro-choice Democrats. West Michigan Judge Scott Bowen, who was set to step down from the bench Friday, was endorsed by Michigan Right to Life when he ran for Grand Rapids City Council in 1997 and again in 2001.

That is confirmed by a Right to Life official in Grand Rapids and by a spokesperson for Bowen, who earlier declined to comment on the fact. Reached on the East Coast where he is attending the Kennedy School for Government, Rep. Alexander “Sandy” [lipsey] said he thought it was wrong for Bowen to seek and accept the endorsement.

Lipsey is 90 percent sure he will run for the Democratic A.G. nomination, too. “I would have been a little hesitant to seek the Right to Life endorsement for city council,” Lipsey suggested, because as an attorney Bowen “locked” himself into a position that could have come before him either in his legal practice or on the bench.

Lipsey said his difference with Bowen on abortion “is one factor that voters and delegates need to take into account … I will make an effort to point it out for money and votes.” Lipsey, who supports abortion rights for women, received the endorsement of Planned Parenthood, and was asked what, if any, difference there was between that endorsement and the anti-abortion endorsement for Bowen. “When I accepted the Planned Parenthood endorsement, they did not ask me to make a strict commitment on abortion,” he explained.

Bowen, who has not been commenting to the media, apparently confirmed with Granholm campaign spokesperson Chris DeWITT that he is pro-life, but DeWitt said the potential A.G. candidate is in good company.

Former Attorney General Frank Kelley, a Democrat, is pro-life and was never challenged at a Democratic convention because of it. Democrats will pick the A.G. nominee a year from next month. So far, neither Bowen or Lipsey are announced candidates.

San Diego the new New Jersey?

July 16, 2005 at 5:14 pm (Uncategorized)

As I’ve said before New Jersey is the most politically corrupt as far as politics goes. You have the ever so fabulous Jim McGreevy and the Torch Toricelli.

A few days ago the the San Diego Mayor Dick Murphy resigned after a $1.35 billion dollar deficit in the city public employee pension fund. Time magazine also listed him as the top three worst big city mayors.

Today there is more news out of San Diego. Congressman Duke Cunningham said that he will not run for re election after his dealings with a defense contractor are starting to be investigated.

My first and only contact with California politics was with a corrupt individual who ran a campaign. When he was in Michigan and involved with YAF he was disqualified from his student government elections for going into peoples dorms and voting for himself on their computers.

Now Dan Centinello is out there in San Diego in the ceaspool of corruption. Some may say it is fitting.

Maybe San Diego has the highest consentration of corruption now, rather than New Jersey.

Michigan Primary System

Michigan bucks McCain By Peter Savodnik

Michigan Republicans want to bar Democrats and independents from the GOP’s 2008 presidential primary — a step that would present a major hurdle for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), should he decide to run for the White House in 2008.In 2000, McCain’s campaign against then-Gov. George W. Bush gained momentum after he won the Michigan primary by appealing to voters outside the GOP. Should McCain run, Michigan would be a critical component of his strategy to win the Republican presidential nomination.

That strategy, as described by Marshall Wittmann, a former spokesman for McCain’s presidential campaign, entails winning “Northern and Western tier” states to compensate for losses in more conservative bastions in Iowa and the South.Limiting participation in the Michigan GOP primary would almost certainly compromise McCain’s plans. In 2000, Bush won 66 percent of the Republican vote, compared to 29 percent for McCain, according to an exit poll conducted by CNN. By contrast, 82 percent of the Democrats who voted in the primary backed McCain, versus 10 percent for Bush.

Michigan Republicans insist they do not want to shape the outcome of the primary but only wish to ensure that Republicans pick their own standard-bearer.With that in mind, state GOP Chairman Saul Anuzis has appointed a commission that includes some members of congressional staffs to come up with a new primary system, Michigan GOP officials said.

Michigan party officials hope the new system will give grassroots activists a greater role in the selection process. Republicans said the process could include caucuses or a nominating convention.“There was a lot of concern and outcry after 2000 when it became evident that there was a lot of crossover for people coming to vote for McCain in hopes of dealing a blow to Governor Engler,” state GOP spokesman Nate Bailey said, referring to former Michigan Gov. John Engler, a key Bush supporter. “And because, for Democrats, they saw McCain as a more moderate voice than George Bush,” state GOP spokesman Nate Bailey said.

Rep. Candice Miller (R-Mich.), who as Michigan secretary of state from 1994 to 2002 was the state’s chief elections officer, said Michigan Republicans need to have a debate about the primary system.

“It will be something we have to decide amongst ourselves,” she said. “I think it’s certainly appropriate for us to discuss it.”

But other Republicans said the new system would undoubtedly hurt McCain by helping his rivals. “Caucuses would be best for the most conservative candidates,” a Michigan Republican with ties to party officials said. “A convention would be next. Open primary would be the least desirable.”

Many Michigan Republicans say McCain remains popular in the state and regularly attends fundraisers, helps build the party organization and meets with activists and donors.

The Arizona senator has won the support of leading Republicans in Michigan, including national committeeman Chuck Yob and national committeewoman Holly Hughes. Ron Weiser, the owner of a real-estate investment company, a former U.S. ambassador to Slovakia and a prominent GOP fundraiser, also is backing McCain, Republican sources said.

But Republicans added that McCain, more than any other GOP presidential contender, would be hurt by limiting participation to Republican voters.

With his crusty, war-hero persona, the Arizonan has broad appeal among the independent, blue-collar households who have often turned elections in the state, while other Republican would-be presidents, such as Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (Tenn.), Sen. George Allen (Va.) and Gov. Haley Barbour (Miss.), are more conservative.

Miller said that the rules dictating who can vote in a primary would not play a leading role in deciding who wins the primary. But she conceded that it is party regulars — conservative activists who show up to vote, attend rallies and canvass precincts, rain or shine — who dominate caucuses.

But some Republicans fear that returning to a caucus means returning to the lawsuits and recriminations of the 1988 presidential primary, when a nasty brouhaha broke out between the warring camps of Vice President George H.W. Bush, evangelical leader Pat Robertson and then-Rep. Jack Kemp (R-N.Y.).

“Michigan is another example of the far right taking over the Republican Party,” Democratic consultant Peter Fenn said. “It is their way or the highway. They want to remove any chance or remote possibility that a moderate Republican who appeals to independents and, heaven forbid, some Democrats might win an election. It is all about McCain and others like him who don’t kowtow to their extremist agenda. It is all about control, control, control and more control.”

Jim Pitts, who served as chief of staff under former Sen. Spencer Abraham (R-Mich.), agreed that conservatives don’t care for McCain but said there is “no right-wing conspiracy” to defeat the senator.
